Changes, Changes, Changes!

Once again things are changing in the B. Lavish world! My schedule will be going back to Tues-Fri starting August 1, and (wait for it)..... I will be offering facials once again!! I have decided that I need to strengthen my hands rather than just cut out facials all together!! I will be letting people know as they come back in for their waxing that facials are once again available!

On another note, I am officially on VACATION!! Yahoo! I will be in the spa one day this week, which is Friday, July 6th! I have a few open spots so to reserve one please message my cell (text/call) or even through Facebook! After the 6th my next day back will be Thursday, July 19! Im hoping that everyone has an amazing 4th of July and spends time with their loved ones! Thats my plan anyways!!

Welcom Mischelle Fisher!!

I am so excited to be announcing that Mischelle Fisher is joining the B. Lavish team! She has 7 years experience and is an amazing Esthetician (along with myself ;) ). As I continue on in my career I find myself wanting to expand and try new things. In order to keep up with demands and stay happy, I have decided to bring in Mischelle to take on the appointments that I simply, cannot.

Mischelle will be at the spa Monday's & Wednesday's and offer the services of facials and waxing. I will be in the spa on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday's offering the services of full body waxing & spray tans. I am so happy to see a warm welcome to Mischelle and so excited to expand & begin training in new areas!!

I am also on the hunt for a massage therapist to rent my spa on the weekends to try and meet the demand of requested massage services! If you know someone in the Middletown area who is responsible and trustworthy have them give me a call!!

I'm Turning One!

I still cannot believe that it has been one year since I opened B. Lavish! While the rain pours down on us here today in Northern California, I can't help but be on cloud 9. A lot of small business's don't make it a year, and here I have made it a successful year at that! When I first decided to open I wasn't sure if a tiny rural town like Middletown, Ca would even care about skin care. I stand corrected! Not only do people care, they also love having a full body waxed, spray tanner & makeup artist in town :) To all the small business owners out there, or ones with dreams of opening one, I just wanted to say you CAN do this! I am thankful to say that I am still open in a rough economy and am still growing! Never let anyone tell you that you can't do something, because inferiority will always try and bring superiority down to it's level! New Wedding Package Updates!

As the growing demand for my services goes up I am now having to adjust the pricing! The bride still receives a consultation with every package as long as she signs a contract with B. Lavish on the day of her preview. Unfortunately I am no longer able to do flower girls blush, gloss & mascara for free because of rising supply costs, and I am also no longer able to offer free mileage. Any wedding that takes place outside of Lake County, Ca will have to pay a mileage fee to get me too and from the wedding venue. Although prices have risen, I still can guarantee you that my airbrush foundation will give you the BEST look you can possibly achieve! Not only is it tear PROOF, it will simply outlast all the others! If you or anyone you know is getting married I strongly encourage you test it out for yourself and prepare to be amazed at how much coverage it gives you with out becoming cakey!

Revamping!

So I realize that I never seem to blog, or even utilize my website! In an effort to change this I am revamping everything I have. The blog has a new look, and I'm going to try and blog at least once a week! I also decided to work on my website a little today. My biggest issue with the website is I'm not sure anyone actually uses it (beside myself ;) )! My back and forth is that I'm spending money on this site yearly and it seems that most people that hear about me, or already know about me use my Facebook page. Another thing that gets me, is if you google B. Lavish my Facebook page comes up on the first page of findings, while my actual website doesn't show up until pager two.That is why I am asking my followers, or anyone that happens to read this (because I think my only follower is the lovely Meg) what they would do if they were indeed in my shoes?!
The reason for this overhaul is the fact that coming up soon I will be having a minor surgery (pesky gallbladder) and I will have one week to work on things around the house as I have been told not to work! I'd love to get everything FINALLY finished and up and running the way I would like to see them! I appreciate everyone's feedback and I am hoping to hear from friends, family, and even some strangers!!

Moving!!

There is nothing more exhausting than moving!! While it has it's perks, like waking up to my handsome BF everyday (well not even close to everyday but at least when he's home!!) and making a house a home. Packing all of your belongings into boxes and then unpacking them to begin the countless hours of organization is grueling!! Times like these call for wine, lots & lots of wine!! I think I'm heading to the store ;) happy rainy night friends!

Creativity...

You never know how creative you are until you put yourself to the test! I was amazed when I made my cell phone case all blinged out just as I had imagined! Now I get to be a part of a family milestone and paint the faces of beautiful children and Gabe's 5th bday! Words cannot express how excited I am to paint their faces and see their pure joy over the little things in life! Needless to say I will definately have my face painted to bring back memories of the good old days! When's the last time you indulged in the little things in life and acted like a kid... :)
